A brace by Liberian striker Sunday Seah helped Goa's Dempo Sports Club score a convincing 2-0 victory over JCT, Phagwara, in a fifth round match of the National Football League at the Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana on Saturday.

JCT, who had stunned Durand Cup winners Salgaocar 1-0 last week, never looked comfortable against the attacking Goan outfit and surrendered meekly.

They were themselves to blame for conceding the two goals to Sunday, who found the net in the third and 49^th minutes, as the defence had left the striker unmarked.

With this victory, Dempo have 13 points from five outings while JCT have only seven.

In the next round, JCT have another home tie against Vasco Sports Club, also from Goa.
