Kim Collins (right) of Saint Kitts and Nevis won the men's 100m final in the 9th IAAF World Athletics Championships at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis outside Paris on Monday.
Darrel Brown of Trinidad and Tobago (3rd left) placed second and Darren Campbell (2nd left) of the United Kingdom came in third.
This is the biggest thing that has happened to the country since it got independence," Collins said. "Everybody expected them (the Americans) to win. It was much easier for me to come out relaxed."
