Three foreign teams for Tata U-19 football

Five teams, including three foreign, will take part in the J R D Tata Invitational Cup Under-19 football tournament to be held at Jamshedpur from September 11 to 22.

Teams from Uzbekistan, Bangladesh and Iran will vie for honours in the round-robin league tournament, along with  hosts Tata Football Academy and India 'B', to be held at the J R D Tata Sports Complex, organising committee sources said on Saturday.

Selection for both the Indian squads is likely to be made next week after Indian coach Stephen Constantine arrives at Jamshedpur on August 18.

While Constantine and TFA coach Ranjan Chowdhury will be in charge of the TFA squad, Balan and Vijay Kumar are expected to be nominated as coaches for India 'B' for the tournament.

The India 'B' probables are undergoing a rigorous training camp at Jamshedpur since the last one week.
