India U-21 win four-nation tourney

Indian defeated France 3-1 to win the four-nation Akhbar El-Youm International invitational Under-21 hockey tournament at Cairo, Egypt, on Friday.

India cruised to victory with two goals from Rajpal Singh and another from Prabodh Tirkey. Rajpal's tally of five goals in the tournament also fetched him the highest goal scorer's award.

Tushar Khandkar was adjudged Best Player of the tournament, which also featured Pakistan and host Egypt.
