Obziler, Barna to clash in final

Top seed Tzipi Obziler of Israel set up a clash with third seed Adriana Barna of Germany in the women's singles final in the $25,000 ITF tennis tournament, in Mumbai, on Friday.

In the semi-finals, the Isreali player needed an hour and forty minutes to oust fourth seed Dominika Luzarova of the Czech Republic 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 while the German sidelined unseeded Suchanan Viratprasert of Thailand 6-2, 6-4 in an hour and 26 minutes.

Barna and Obziler are also in the doubles final, partnering different players. Barna and Natalia Dziamidzenka of Bulgaria subdued the Netherlands' pair of Jolanda Mens and Andrea Van Den Hurk 6-2, 6-2 in one our ten minutes while Obsiler and Katarina Daskovic of Yugslovia sidelined Dominika Luzarova and her Ukranian partner Olena Antypina 6-4, 6-1 in one hour 30 minutes.
