Aided by a superb hat-trick by Nigerian striker George Ekeh, defending champions Mohun Bagan
scored an emphatic 3-1 victory over HAL Sports Club, Bangalore, to earn full points in the National Football League
on Monday.

Ekeh, scored in the 13th, 38th and 82nd minutes and the lone face saving goal for HAL came in 9th minute through Kenath Onu.

With this win, the Kolkata giants Bagan took their points tally to nine from six outings and HAL remained at four from
five engagements.
