Saraswati Saha betters
200 metres mark
Saraswati Saha set a new national record in the women's 200 metres at the fifth National athletics circuit meet in Ludhiana on Wednesday.
The West Bengal athlete clocked 22.82 seconds to better Rachita Mistry's mark of 23.10 seconds, set in Chennai in 2000.
Though it was a national meet, the organisers did not made any arrangements to provide the list of participants or results to the media. In fact, chaos prevailed as no organiser was traceable.
