Sania Mirza won the girls' singles title at the Botswana junior tennis international grade-3 tournament, held in Botswana, Africa.

She defeated South Africa's Tarryn Terblanche 6-0, 6-4 in the final.

The 16-year-old Hyderabad lass also won the doubles final, partnering Terblanche. The pair blanked out Tapiwa Morobela of Botswana and Elna of Nambia 6-0, 6-0.

Terblanche had won the Africa grade-4 event last week.

The title ended Sania's four-week African tour, during which she picked up a grade-2 title in South Africa (100 points), a grade-3 title in Botswana (60 points), a grade-2 semi-final in South Africa (50 points) and a grade-3 quarter-final in Egypt (30 points).

She also picked up three doubles titles and a runner-up finish.
