Sania Mirza in Botswana tournament final

Sania Mirza has entered the final of the Botswana junior tennis international grade-3 tournament, being played in Botswana, Africa.

She defeated Tarryn Rudman of South Africa 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-finals.

In the final, she will meet 77-ranked Tarryn Terblanche of South Africa. Terblanche had won the Africa grade-4 event last week.

The 16-year-old Hyderabad girl also entered the doubles final, partnering Terblanche.

Last week, she lost in the quarter-finals of the Smash tennis international junior grade-3 tournament in Cairo, Egypt, while she and Amani Khalifa of Egypt lost in the doubles final.
