Goa, Bengal in Jr. Nat football final

Holders Goa reached the final of the under-21 Junior national football championship, downing Karnataka 6-5 via the tie-breaker in Duliajan, Guwahati, on Friday.

In the final on Saturday, they meet Bengal.

Both regulation and extra-time ended in a 1-1 draw after Goa's Santa Kumar opened the scoring and Mahendra Mani restored parity for Karnataka.

. In the tie-breaker, Mani, however, shot wide while Goa netted from all their five kicks.

On Thursday, Bengal also won their semi-final via the tie-breaker, beating Railways 4-3.
