Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes on Saturday won the French Open, their first Grand Slam doubles title of the year to add to their 1999 French Open and Wimbledon titles. What a comeback it has been for the unseeded Indians who parted ways in 2000 after becoming the first pair in over 45
years to reach all four Grand Slam finals in 1999, and finished the year as No 1.
