India 'B' 236/4 is 45th over; India 'A' 295/5

India 'B' were 236/4 in the 45th over, chasing a stiff target of 296 set by India 'A' in the third match of the Challenger series in Ahmedabad today.

India 'A' after winning the toss elected to bat. They went off to a flier scoring of 74/1 in just 15 overs for the loss of opener Arun Kumar (19). Sanjay Bangar, who was promoted up the order, scored 46 (71).

Azhar scored 50 in (46) and Sharath 42 with the 100 coming up in the 21st over. Niraj Patel scored a quick-fire 70 in just 63 balls with seven fours and Mongia adding 24 in 22 balls.

R S Sodhi finished with figures of 10-1-59-1 and Mohanty with 10-0-57-1.

India 'B' now have to chase a huge target of 296 runs to win the match and qualify for the finals.
