India, South Korea begin with a bangHosts India began their campaign in the Hero Honda fourth women's Asia Cup Hockey tournament in spectacular fashion, drubbing Malaysia 8-0, while defending champions South Korea routed Japan 4-1 in another match in Delhi today. India, winners of the first edition of the tournament, outplayed the Malaysians in all departments and built an invincible 6-0 lead by half-time. Ace striker Pritam Rani scored three goals. The other scorers were Suraj Lata Devi and Jyoti Sunita Kullu (two each), and Manjinder Kaur. Earlier, South Korea outpaced Japan and should have won by much bigger margin but for at least six easy chances their forwards muffed. The twice winners led 1-0 at the lemon break. UNI
