Oops! Pregnant Kate Middleton nearly let it slip

Kate Middleton's pregnancy may not have gotten off to the smoothest start, but the only bump in the road now is the one she's been sporting under coats and dresses of late. With her morning sickness under control, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, 31, is looking and feeling lovely as she prepares for the July birth of her first child with Prince William.

It's a royal secret, but the Duchess of Cambridge may have inadvertently dropped a hint about the gender of the baby she and Prince William are expecting.

When a wellwisher gave the former Kate Middleton a teddy bear during a rare public appearance Tuesday, one woman in the crowd said she heard Kate respond: "Thank you, I will take that for my d..." before she broke off her comments.

That reported exchange was enough for Britain's tabloids to trumpet "It's a girl" in Wednesday's papers.

Kate Middleton definitely does not look six months pregnant... we can barely tell the difference from her pre-baby bump days! Apparently, neither can she, as she is still sporting her winter coat that we so keenly remember her wearing last Valentine's Day in Liverpool. The Royal recycler has yet to delve into the maternity section... she gave the coat another go for her official visit to Grimsby on March 5.

The Hobbs 2011 brown 'Celeste' coat made it's second appearance as Kate strolled down the chilly city streets for her visit to meet unemployed young people on a Prince's Trust scheme.

This time around, the belt was slightly re-positioned just above her belly, which delicately filled out the midsection of the coat. Even so, the Duchess' pregnancy was practically unnoticeable. Perhaps the soft brown color of the coat was a slendering option for Kate.
The chic, fastened cuffs were a trendy touch to the classic piece. Rather than drawing attention to her advanced state, Kate definitely made the right move by opting for the standard-cut of the winter wear. When she originally donned the piece in 2012 it sold out in less than an hour! She's always a trendsetter!
