A fire that started on Tuesday evening at an abandoned Chicago warehouse is now covered in ice. Around 170 firefighters worked overnight in freezing temperatures to snuff the blaze.
The fire that lit up Chicago skies Tuesday night rekindled on Thursday morning. Fire officials from Chicago expected the fire to start up again because of the magnitude of the blaze and called it a "significant rekindle".

Fire department officials said it is the biggest fire the department has had to battle in years and one-third of all Chicago firefighters were on the scene at one point or another trying to put out the flames. An Arctic blast continues to gripped the US Midwest and Northeast Wednesday, with at least three deaths linked to the frigid weather, and fierce winds made some locations feel as cold as minus 46 degrees Celsius.
