Kerry Skarbakka lives on the edge, quite literally. Leaping off a rail bridge, throwing himself off a cliff, falling off a ladder this daredevil photographer captures himself in mid-air in a gripping series 'The Struggle To Right Oneself'.
He began this project to deal with the emotional pain after he lost his mother to cancer and the 9/11 attacks.
Though 'falling man' Skarbakka admits to using a safety harness while performing his stunts, he has often sustained injuries. But that has not deterred Skarbakka from taking that leap.
Come May 25, his pictures will be displayed at the Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles, California.
Here are some of the scariest mid-air moments that Skarbakka has captured over the last 10 years.
