Hitting out at yoga guru Baba Ramdev's fast against corruption, Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh on Saturday described it as a 'five star satyagraha'.

"What kind of satyagraha is this of a Baba who travels in a jet and gets all sorts of five star services? He is holding this fast on an issue he does not even know about," claimed Singh.

'RSS foot soldiers are helping him'

He further said Gandhian Anna Hazare should reconsider his association with Baba Ramdev.

"I leave it to the judgement of Anna Hazare to decide whether he wants to associate himself with Baba," he added.

He also said that Ramdev was going ahead with the fast with the help of "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's foot soldiers."

'He should give up yoga'

Earlier, Singh had said that Ramdev should give up his yoga practices and become a full-time politician.

"If Ramdev wants to do politics, he should give up yoga. He shouldn't try to balance politics behind the curtains of yoga; better become a full-time politician," Singh had said.
