Europe's most active volcano -- Mount Etna in Italy -- erupted for the sixth time this year on Thursday.
Mount Etna is an active stratovolcano on the east coast of Sicily. Thursday's eruption is the 24th in a series of volcanic eruptions since January.
In the past month alone, Mount Etna erupted thrice.

Italian authorities have, however, not issued any warning. Due to the slow speed of the lava it has only damaged properties and has not killed anyone.
Even as the volcanic eruption spewed blood-red molten lava and ash into the sky it hasn't affected air traffic so far.
