People thronged the Srinagar markets and other towns since early Tuesday morning, making Eid related shopping which continued till late in the evening.

For the first time in many years, markets in capital Srinagar came alive with people shopping till late evening. The lights and illuminations underscored the festivity that marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
