This is the Costa Concordia as you’ve never seen it -- its glamorous bars, decks and rooms now just ghostly remains after lying abandoned for more than two years.
The control room of the ship lays in a rotten condition after mildew has affected almost all the machinery.
Damaged furniture lays around the ship, as officials continue to try to turn the ship in the upright position. The ceiling in most parts of the ship has rotted away, exposing the iron beams, which too have rusted.

Luggage of some of the passengers is still inside the ship. 32 passengers aboard the ship perished in the accident, after the ship hit rocks near the island of Giglio in Italy.

Production equipment has caught rust in many parts of the ship. Towing of the ship will now begin on July 21.
