'No DIRECT evidence of graft against PM'
There is no direct evidence of corruption against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Prashant Bhushan, activist Arvind Kejriwal's aide and senior Supreme Court advocate, admits in an exclusive interview with rediff.com's Onkar Singh.
Is there any evidence to show that the prime minister is corrupt? Has he been taking bribes?
There is no direct evidence to show that he has been taking money. But if you talk about assistance to others and allowing them to make money, then of course he is guilty whether it is in the case of the 2G scam, the coal-gate scam and other cases.

Why do you think the UPA government is making such tall claims about fighting corruption?
People like A Raja (accused in the 2G spectrum scam) are made the minister of telecom. A number of senior ministers have been accused of corruption but nobody has touched them. They should have been arrested and sent to jail.

It is difficult to give you the exact nature of money that is being laundered. The money, according to sources, comes through Mauritius and Malyasia. The black money runs into lakhs of crores and may amount to as much as $400 billion.
