Vicky Nanjappa reports on the latest terror threat to Hyderabad coinciding with the festival of Shivratri on March 10
The Hyderabad Police has received credible information of possible terror strikes on the city on the occasion of Shivratri on March 10.
The information has been picked up based upon the ongoing investigations into the recent blasts that rocked the city in which 17 people died and over 100 were injured.
The local intelligence officials are coordinating with the Intelligence Bureau and the city police on the information about a possible terror strike on the city.

Major locations like cinema theatres, shopping malls, NTR Park and Begum Bazaar are on the hit-list of terrorist groups.
The Hyderabad Police are not taking the alert lightly, especially after the Dilsukhnagar fiasco.

Senior cops are personally visiting crowded areas and coordinating the installation of CCTVs.
Police CCTVs too are being thoroughly checked.
Additional forces have been deployed around the city and major checking is being carried out.

The police are also questioning several persons in the city and special police units are working round the clock to prevent any incident.
Meanwhile, a general alert has been issued to all other states for March 10.
