Rediff.com’s Reuben NV, who is in Lucknow to cover the poll campaigning, came across little children at election rallies and on the streets raising slogans and cheering political leaders. Many of them looked amused, some excited, while other seemed simply bored.
Political campaigning may be a thing for grown-ups but that hasn’t stopped the young ones from doing their bit this election season.
They may not fully comprehend why they are cheering a particular party or why they accompany their parents to hear a particular leader speak, but nevertheless kids have not been able to stay away from all the election hurly burly.
