Local train derails in Mumbai, services hit

A Kalyan-bound local train derailed near Masjid station in Mumbai on Wednesday morning, disrupting rail traffic on the suburban section of Central Railway.
The train, which had started from CST station, was approaching Masjid station when the sixth bogie (from the engine) derailed, railway sources said.

Efforts are on to restore train service, they added.
The incident occurred in the morning rush hour, inconveniencing thousands of commuters. No casualty has been reported, sources said.
