Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that India has provided the report on the Samjhauta Express train blast investigations and both countries have agreed to discuss Kashmir and other pending issues.
Malik made these comments while talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, The News reports.
He said that dialogue between Pakistan and India was the only way forward to address all the outstanding issues between the two countries.
The 'cricket diplomacy' provided a chance to end the communication gap between the two countries countries and work together for peace in the region, he added.
Responding to a question about the Indo-Pak World Cup semi-final clash, Malik said that success and defeat are part of the game and the Pakistan team performed well in the tournament.
"Pakistani players are heroes of the nation and played well during the World Cup matches," he said.
To another question, he said that Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani had invited the national cricket team to acknowledge their performance in the World Cup and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had received the squad at the airport.
"I will also invite the players after the reception of the prime minister," he added.
