IN PIX: Meet the high-spenders at the UNGA

World leaders, including Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Argentina President Cristina Fernandez and Moroccan Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri, have been on a spending spree in New York ahead of this week's United Nations General Assembly.

According to the New York Post, Rwandan President Kagame is staying in the $16,000 dollars-per-night presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental despite his average annual income of $1,150.

The hotel's website says that Kagame's rooms have panoramic views of Central Park, the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline.

The newspaper also reported that Argentina President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner went out shopping and bought 20 pairs of Louboutins at $5,500 a pair.

Moroccan Foreign Minister Fihri was dining at Harry Cipriani, as were dignitaries from Nigeria. The Saudi leaders are at The Plaza, and a group of them headed to the hotel's Warren-Tricomi salon on Tuesday for grooming.
