Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray on Monday collected the ashes of his father and Sena supremo Bal Thackeray at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

The Sena chief's mortal remains were consigned to flames on Sunday at a public funeral, which was attended by lakhs of supporters.
A team of priests and senior Shiv Sena leaders accompanied Uddhav to Shivaji Park on Monday.
The ashes of Thackeray will be handed over to Shiv Sena leaders and office bearers on Tuesday.
The urns containing ashes will be kept at the party offices in different parts of the state for the Shiv Sainiks to pay homage to the departed leader, on November 21 and 22.
Thereafter, the ashes will be immersed in holy waters in different parts of the country on November 23 including Harihareshwar, Nashik, Haridwar, Varanasi and Kanyakumari.
