IN PHOTOS: It's an odd world out there!
We bring you a collection of some of the odd moments from around the world in recent weeks.
People take part in the "KaZantip" festival in the Crimean village of Popovka, Ukraine.
KaZantip, an annual techno, trance and house music festival, has been held since 1991. The entrance ticket is called a "viZa". It takes place for 5-6 weeks in the summer and more than 150,000 "paradiZers" visit each year. There is a cult of orange coloured fashion and yellow suitcases associated with the festival.

A man looks at a 1990s Volkswagen Beetle named "Vochol" during an exhibition on Huichol culture at the Museum of Puebla, near Mexico City.
The name "Vochol", was conceived from a combination of "Vocho"a popular term for Volkswagen Beetles in Mexico and "Huichol", a Mexican indigenous group. The car was decorated by indigenous craftmen from the Huichol community living in the states of Nayarit and Jalisco, using traditional beads and fabric.
According to local media, the work will be auctioned after its exhibition in Paris and Berlin next year, with funds and proceeds going to the Huichols.

A reveller enjoys a bungee jump during the 17th Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn-upon-Odra River, close to the Polish and German border, Poland.
Since the 11th festival, its organizers have called Przystanek Woodstock "the biggest open-air festival in Europe".
The festival's motto is "Love, Friendship, and Music." It is organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity foundation, as a way of thanking its volunteers.
Generally a weekend-long event, its two stages are in continuous use from early afternoon to dawn, featuring performances by around 30 bands every year.

Dutch tourists in bathing clothes stand in the snow at the Hintertuxer Glacier in the Austrian province of Tyrol.
The glacier is located in the Zillertal Alps at the "Gefrorene Wand" (Frozen Wall) summit on 10,787 feet.
The two peaks are about 300 metres apart. They appear from the north as a stubby, cone-shaped, firn-covered dome, but from the east as a forbidding, dark rock face.
The twin peaks are the highest points in the summer skiing area of the Hintertux Glacier and, since the end of the 1990s, have been accessible from Hintertux on cable cars and ski lifts; which makes them a popular destination for day trippers.

IN PHOTOS: It's an odd world out there!
A participant is seen during the Red Bull Flugtag Russia 2011 on the outskirts of Moscow.
Enthusiasts competed to fly the longest distance in self-made aircrafts in an attempt to win the Flugtag contest.
The flying machines are usually launched off a pier about 30 feet high into the sea (or suitably sized reservoir of water). Most competitors enter for the entertainment value, and the flying machines rarely fly at all.
Although the format was originally invented in Selsey, a small seaside town in the south of England under the name "Birdman Rally" in 1971.
The first Red Bull Flugtag competition was held in 1991 in Vienna, Austria. It was such a success that it has been held every year since and in over 35 cities all over the world.

The tortoises are weighed every two years to check their health. The average weight of a male is around 250 kilograms, but one male at the Fort Worth Zoological Park weighs over 360.25 kilograms.
Females are generally smaller than males, with average specimens measuring 90 centimetres in length and weighing 150 kilograms.
