IMAGES: Worst flood in 70 years inundates central Europe

We bring forth images from various European countries, including Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland, which are experiencing reportedly the worst flooding in the last 70 years.
The floods to hit the Czech Republic in a decade have killed at least six people dead and forced thousands from their homes across central Europe. Almost 2,700 people were evacuated from low-lying areas while the rising water threatened Prague's historic centre, forced school closures and disrupted public transport.
The Czech Republic government had declared a state of emergency on Sunday, deploying 2,000 troops in its rescue drive.
Thousands of households were hit with power outages. Fallen trees snarled rail traffic across western regions.
Flooding has also been reported in Austria and water levels have risen in Germany and Poland after heavy rain in central Europe over the past week swelled rivers.
In Germany, more than 7,000 people have been moved from their homes in the town of Eilenburg, BBC reported.
At least one person died and two are missing in Austria near Salzburg.
