Big B on Wednesday said that he was relieved after the main whistle-blower in the Bofors scandal revealed that the Bollywood superstar's name was planted by Indian investigators in the case but added the clean chit has come "too late".
Amitabh was eloquent on his blog when he described his trial, "Do not destroy me by the absence of your company. That would be unbearable – now and ever !!... 25 years after the incident, I read today from one that pioneered accusation and investigation, of innocence. Of the fault that never lay before me. Of one that remained and shall perhaps remain a darkened spot, blemished beyond all recognition, but in admittance of wrong doing against me. No one shall be able to understand or even remotely fathom, the hours and days and months and years of the anguish of petulant blame, that I had to go through."

The iconic Vespa scooter comes to India
Auto-making giant Piaggio has brought to India the LX125, a high-tech, gearless scooter, to take on competition from rivals such as Honda, TVS, Suzuki and Yamaha in the fast-growing market.
The Vespa -- which means "wasp" in Italian -- returns to India at a time when sales of scooters are on the rise, as Indian families, particularly women, are looking for trendy, affordable and easy-to-ride two-wheelers.
