After being questioned for three consecutive days, YSR Congress leader, Jagan Mohan Reddy was taken into custody by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Sunday evening.
The CBI which took into custody at around 7.15 pm will produce him before the court on Monday where they would seek his custody in order to question him further in the illegal assets case.
CBI sources told rediff.com that the arrest was imminent as they were unhappy with Jagan's responses during his questioning.

"He was evasive and we could not tally the clarifications that we had sought," a source said.
There was heavy police presence all throughout the day in Hyderabad, as there was an indication that his arrest was imminent. The CBI could have arrested him after the first day of his questioning, but they decided to give him an opportunity to clarify his position.
Moreover, Section 41 A of the Cr PC mandates that a person be given a notice of appearance before an arrest could be made.
