BIG BUCKS: Salaries that world leaders take home

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard will get more salary than United States President Barack Obama and the United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron, as the country's Remuneration Tribunal has decided in favour of increasing the wage of the members of Parliament.

The salary of Gillard is set to overshoot by $90,000 making her total wages exceed even US president Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron salaries, to about $470,000 (Rs 2,41,89,724).
