Delhi high court directive on missing JMM leader's secretary

The Delhi high court on Thursday directed the Central Bureau of Investigation to step up efforts to trace Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Shibu Soren's private secretary Sashi Nath Jha who has been missing since 1994.

The directive was issued by a division bench comprising Justices Y K Sabharwal and A K Srivastava after examining CBI Deputy Inspector General Satish Chandra's report on the case.

Jha is a key witness in the JMM MPs's pay-off case involving former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao among others.
