Noted film-maker Yash Johar, admitted to a Mumbai hospital on Saturday for severe chest infection, continued to be critical on Sunday, hospital sources said.

"Johar is still critical and in the ICU. His response to the treatment is slow," a spokesperson of the Leelavati Hospital, where the septuagenarian film-maker has been admitted, told PTI.

The film-maker was admitted to the hospital with the history of fever and has been diagnosed to be suffering from severe chest infection and 'he is not completely out of danger', the spokesperson said.

Film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sonali Bendre and Abhishek Bachchan visited the ailing film-maker yesterday.

Earlier this month, Johar underwent a minor surgery at Bombay Hospital and was to go to London for medical treatment, hospital sources added.
