Will you stop worshipping the Shirdi Sai Baba?

August 26, 2014 14:07 IST

The Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth, Swami Swaroopnanand Saraswati, who has been having a running feud with the followers of the saint of Shirdi, Sai Baba, has taken his opposition to the seer a step ahead.

A Dharma Sansad organised by the shankaracharya has passed a resolution that the Shirdi Sai Baba should not be worshipped by followers of ‘Sanatan Dharma’, that is Hinduism.

The resolution flies in the face of the incredible devotion on display at the shrine in Shirdi, where worshippers throng at all hours of the day, seeking the Baba's blessings.

Are you in agreement with this Dharma Sansad’s resolution against the Shirdi Sai Baba?

Do you believe such gatherings have the right to tell people who they should worship and who they shouldn’t?

Tell us what you think of the Dharma Dansad's resolution, by posting your views below.
