Who are the real custodians of the Constitution?

Narendra Damodardas Modi, our self-proclaimed Pradhan Sevak, and his able lieutenant Amit Anilchandra Shah never tire of declaring that the Constitution of India is the only Holy Book they revere.

Ironically, it is the Constitution that protesters all over the Republic have held up to demonstrate why they are opposed to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, which they declare violates the tenets of the Holy Book which the Gujarati gents running the affairs of the Indian State swear by.
