A tremendous effort made by the Indian government to stop the arrest and harassment of the Indian students who are victims of the Tri-Valley University seems in vain, as students are still been taken to the detention center by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

On February 18, ICE officials again arrested a student of TVU in Chicago, Illinois, said the victim's brother Syed Mustafa Hussain.

"I don't know the exact reason. He even did not take the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) from the university. It seems they are going to give him a Notice To Appear(NTA)," said Hussain.

Syed first posted the message on Murthy.com, said has not yet hired an attorney. Hussain wrote in a message he has $1,500 bail bond standing against him.

A student, who called himself an innocent victimof TVU said, "I think the media should show to Indian people and to the government that there is no positiveness among the students on this issue and the promises given by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have to come true. Many of us are trying to get him out of the situation, but as its a long weekend, no one can help him. It's sad on the part of students of TVU to face such kind of problems. No one is coming to help us from higher levels."

Last week, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, who met US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Under Secretary of State William Burns, said she was assured that the US State Department will alleviate the plight of the Indian students. But the students' nightmare that started on January 19, does not seem to have changed since.
