Two injured in grenade explosion in Srinagar

Two persons were seriously wounded in a powerful hand grenade explosion in the Magarmal Bagh locality of Srinagar on Wednesday evening.
 
Police said militants lobbed a hand grenade at a paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force bunker near Magarmal chowk on Wednesday evening which exploded injuring two civilian bystanders.

"The injured were taken to hospital for treatment," a police officer said.
 
"The explosion site was surrounded and searched by the police and the CRPF," the officer informed, adding that, "No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack."
