The ULFA-I or the anti-talks faction of the ULFA is led by fugitive commander-in-chief Paresh Barua who has taken shelter in Myanmar under the patronage of Naga rebel group National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang, and taken a key role in formation of the joint forum of Northeast militants called United Liberation Front of Western South East Asia.
