The police on Friday arrested two more people for their alleged involvement in  blasts outside the Bharatiya Janata Party’s office in the city.

Vayalar Hakim and Azghar Ali, who were picked up by the Tamil Nadu police, hail from Coimbatore.

The duo had allegedly supplied material for the blasts outside the BJP’s office in Malleshwaram.

They would be handed over to the Bangalore police, who already have five people in their custody in connection with the case.

The two men are reportedly operatives of the Al Umma.

The police believe that a splinter group of the Al Umma carried out the Bangalore blasts.
