The Railway Police on Thursday arrested Maulana Hussain Umarji, allegedly the main conspirator behind last year's Godhra carnage.
Umarji was arrested at Signal Falia for allegedly being involved in the burning of the S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express on February 27, 2002, Railway Police sources said.
The special investigating team of the Railway Police has already arrested 75 people in this regard.
