Trinamool Congress ministers have sought an appointment with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for submitting their resignation on Friday.

Railway Minister Mukul Roy on Thursday said that an appointment has been sought from the prime minister at 3 pm on Friday.

Ruling out any compromise, he said TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has already announced the party's stand of withdrawing its ministers from the government and its support to it on the issue of FDI in retail, diesel price hike and cap on supply of LPG cylinders.

Roy denied that the prime minister or Finance Minister P Chidambaram had called him to communicate anything to Banerjee about the Centre's plans to go ahead with the decisions on these issues.

He recalled that former finance minister and Leader of the Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee had announced in the House that FDI in multi-brand retail would not be implemented till a political consensus is reached.
