Members of the Telangana movement's Joint Action Committee will soon embark on a journey to Egypt to pick up a few lessons on how to conduct a successful agitation.

A massive rebellion in Egypt had ended the autocratic regime of Hosni Mubarak and forced him to step down after decades of misrule.

Members of the JAC told rediff.com that they will style the next part of the agitation on the lines of the one that had toppled the government in Egypt. A team of the JAC will leave for Egypt in the last week of August.

After their return, they plan to garner the support of lakhs of pro-Telanaga activists and shut down Hyderabad, cutting it off from the rest of the country.

Branding the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh as 'dictatorial', members of the JAC said they would once again demand a separate state. If their demand is not accepted, they will throw out the government, warned the activists.

The members of the JAC plan to meet those leaders in Egypt who took part in the agitation and find out how they carried out such a mass movement. They will study the entire issue during their 15-day stay in Egypt and launch an agitation in Hyderabad after their return.
