She can be it all and do it all!

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis has debuted as playback singer for the movie ‘Jai Gangaajal’ starring Priyanka Chopra. The song has just been released online.

The CM’s better half said that she had not accepted any payment for the singing gig. Using Facebook, the CM’s wife wrote, “Please listen to my first song as debutant singer in Bollywood ‘Sab Dhan Maati’ -- a spiritual song of the movie Jai Gangajaal, music by Salim-Sulaiman, Prakash Jha production. Movie releases on March 4 -- do watch!!”

When asked about her reactions to the song, she was quoted as saying to NDTV, “It was an overwhelming experience! The music by Salim and Sulaiman and the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir are so beautiful that I was totally lost in my emotions.”

And what did her husband think about it? “He was happy and liked the song, more so because Jai Gangaajal is a woman-centric film. So, it's a good start,” she added.

So will the CM’s wife give up her day job of being a banker at Axis Bank?

Only time can tell.
