The demand for removal of Justice A K Ganguly, accused of harassing a law intern, from the post of Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission, along with Telangana issue paralysed the functioning of Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, members of the Congress, YSR Congress and the Telugu Desam Party displayed placards opposing creation of Telangana by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh.
Samajwadi Party members trooped into Well demanding government action against repeated incursion into Indian territory by China. Speaker Meira Kumar then adjourned the House until noon.
When the House reassembled, similar scenes were witnessed with Trinamool Congress members, led by Sudip Bandopadhyay, coming into the Well demanding sacking of Justice Ganguly.

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam members too kept standing to protest the attacks on Indian fishermen by Sri Lankan navy. As slogan-shouting continued, the Speaker directed laying of papers, during which Tribal Affairs Minister V Kishore Chandra Deo introduced the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Second Amendment) Bill.
Kumar then adjourned the House for the day. With just three days left for the Winter Session to conclude, Lok Sabha has not been able to transact any major business barring passage to the Supplementary Demands for Grants (General) and Demands for Grants (Railways) without discussion because of ruckus.
