Team members using Hazare for political ambitions, says Parulekar

November 09, 2011 15:44 IST

After claiming that Anna Hazare's key aides were 'fascists and undemocratic,' his former blogger Raju Parulekar on Wednesday alleged that Arvind Kejriwal and others were using the activist to further their political ambitions.

"Anna Hazare has no political motives. Kejriwal, (Shanti and Prashant) Bhushans, (Kiran) Bedi, Manish Sisodia and Kejriwal's employee team are using Anna's moral power for their political ambitions," he posted on Twitter.

Parulekar, who fell out with Hazare after the activist distanced himself from his claim on restructuring the core committee, had earlier claimed that the Gandhian wanted to remove "undemocratic and fascist" Kejriwal, Bedi, Prashant Bhushan and "their pawns" from his core team.

The Pune-based journalist said he will soon come out with the conspiracy which led to his estrangement with Hazare.

Parulekar had earlier told reporters that Hazare wanted to reorganise his team and wanted to form a pan-India organisation, a claim denied by the activist who said he never spoke to him about this.

In turn, Parulekar made public an unpublished letter which was kept under wraps to blunt the anti-graft crusader's claim that he had not spoken to him about reorganising his core team.
