Hardline Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani was admitted in a private hospital in Delhi after he complained of breathlessness and his condition was on Thursday described as stable by doctors.
The 86-year-old leader had complained of breathlessness and high blood pressure and was taken to MaxHospital, Saket.
"Syed Ali Shah Geelani was brought into MaxHospital, Saket emergency with an episode of syncope (fainting episode).
He is at present stable and under evaluation by the cardiology and neurology team of the hospital," said a statement issued by the hospital.
