Refuting the Bharatiya Janata Party's charge that they had indulged in anti-party activities, two MLAs loyal to Vasundhara Raje said on Wednesday that they had not indulged in any indiscipline that led to their suspension. The two MLAs, Gyan Dev Ahuja and Rajender Singh Rathore, who have been asked to explain their conduct within seven days, maintained that they had not done anything against the party.

"We have not done any indiscipline. We have not done anything against the party. Neither have we spoken against the central leaders, nor (have we done so) against the state leaders or the parliamentary board," Ahuja said. In a similar vein, Rathore said "We have not done any crime. We stick to

our decision. We have not done anything which can be termed as indiscipline. Even after that, if they want to suspend us, it's their choice."

Newly-appointed Rajasthan BJP unit chief Arun Chaturvedi had suspended the MLAs on Tuesday, in an apparent message to former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to fall in line and quit as Leader of the Opposition following the party's poor performance in the state assembly and Lok Sabha polls. The two MLAs were spearheading Raje's campaign against the party high command. While Rathore is the Chief Whip of the party in the state assembly, Ahuja was the spokesman for Raje during the activities last week when she defied the party high command's directive to step down.
