The Special Investigation Team probing the multicrore stamp paper scam on Saturday summoned Antim Totla for questioning.

Totla is believed to the key link between prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi and top politicians. On Friday Totla's brother-in-law Prakash Jakatia was questioned by the SIT.

The SIT also had raided the premises of Jakatia in Khar and searched the office of a petrochemical firm in Santa Cruz, jointly owned by Totla and Jakatia.

Totla had allegedly hosted Democratic Front legislators in Bangalore when there was a move to topple the Vilas Rao Deshmukh-led government in 2002. He is also believed to have Sameer Bhujbal, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal's nephew.
