Sonia's words seem to fall on deaf years

The tongue lashing that Congress President Sonai Gandhi gave her party men in power and authority seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
The Congress president during her address had said that ministers and people in authority didn't take grassroots Congress workers seriously. As if to prove her point, a horde of Congressmen -- 75 according to a lady manning the media enclosure -- followed Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit inside the press enclosure "to check the arrangement for the media."
"But only 50 or so have come out along with her," said a lady requesting not to be named. In fact, this lady -- had to face the wrath of the Congressmen, who forced their way into the enclosure despite her staff's best efforts to stop them.
"Aap hi dekh lijiye kya ho raha hai (You can see for yourself what is happening)," she complained.
Even as this correspondent was talking to her about how those Congressmen in authority didn't pay heed to the issues of grassroots workers, a "Congress spokesperson" from Bihar, forced his way inside the media enclosure.

Having seen this spectacle it seems that the Congress president is not being taken seriously. The so-called netajis think of this as just a "morale-boosting" speech for the grassroots worker and are confident that the status quo will continue when it comes to overriding the voice and authority of the grassroots worker.
